Bike Library Central
Start the borrowing process:
- Register as a borrower. Sign up for an account here. In signing up for an account, you will need to agree to our terms and conditions agreement, which includes a liability waiver.
- Within "My Account," click on "My Memberships" and request to be approved for a specific library branch. The host organization will review whether you are a client or community member of their organization.
- A Snotrac staff member will reach out to you to schedule a bicycle safety training. This training is required prior to reserving a bicycle. You may also proactively join an upcoming scheduled training. Click on "Events."
- Once you are approved by a library branch as one of their community members and you have successfully completed a training, you will be able to reserve a reserve a bicycle.
Where you can be a member of a bicycle library branch:
- Everett Station District is the area around Everett Station, to which the organization Stations Unidos provides placemaking, safety, and cleaning services. To borrow bicycles from the organization, people must be residents or workers within the boundaries of the Everett Station District (see area map), and reservations must be made through this online portal to schedule a pick-up and drop-off at a warehouse.
- The Village on Casino Road (14 W Casino Road, Everett WA 98201) is a community resource center managed by the organization Connect Casino Road. To borrow bicycles at this branch, individuals must be a recognized client or community member of The Village, whether its Connect Casino Road, ChildStrive, or another site partner (see list here). Bicycles may be reserved either through this online portal or with the assistance of a Village staff member.
- Washington West African Center - WAWAC (1510 196th St SE, Lynnwood WA 98012) serves West African immigrants across Snohomish County and beyond. To borrow bicycles at this branch, individuals must be a recognized client or community member of WAWAC. Bicycles may be reserved either through this online portal or with the assistance of a WAWAC staff member.
- The Well Being Community Center at the Clearwater School (1510 196th St SE, Bothell WA 98012) serves South Snohomish County in creating belonging and extending care in our rich multicultural community through support groups, health and well-being Initiatives, workshops, and art & culture events. To borrow bicycles at this branch, individuals must be a recognized client or community member at the Well Being Community Center. Bicycles may be reserved either through this online portal or with the assistance of a Well Being staff member.
